Richmond Police K-9 – Helping to keep us safe at the bike races. The muzzle is to keep the public safe, just in case.

The dogs come with some training, and then Richmond police complete their training in 2 or 3 months. This guy can do many things but is primarily an attack dog. So what is the doggy vest with the handles for?

 

To lift the dog into a window or over fences when need be, to chase a bad guy.
